You may have already noticed the significant increase in beauty care for women of all ages.
They are mothers, wives and even young people who are concerned about feeling more beautiful and confident about themselves, without worrying about conforming to what society preaches as beautiful.
After all, they are finally understanding that every woman has her uniqueness and that beauty is natural.
This change in behavior is excellent for everyone who works with massage in some way, as a:
Massage therapist
Nurse
Beauticians
Physiotherapist
Body Contour Specialist
But this opportunity can become a nightmare if it is not exploited in the right way and you end up making these small mistakes.
Forgetting to evaluate each client’s needs:
A very common mistake is not understanding what each client really needs and ending up paying more attention to areas that are not so important.
The result of not realizing it in time is your client’s frustration and little by little it will make her not come back.
Not personalizing the session:
Much like the previous mistake, many professionals have just learned to replicate what they learned for all of their clients.
When this happens, the results will not be as visible and your client, who came to you expecting to be treated on a personalized level, will not return. It will ruin your reputation.
Accept (delaying) the next client:
How many times have you had to assist a client who was late or asked you (mid-session) to do her face too?
If you accept, your credibility will go down the drain immediately. After all, your client who is now adoring you for making her an “exception” will wonder if you wouldn’t do it for her next time too. (And so the cycle begins.)
And that’s not even to mention the fact that whoever is waiting, will now be irritated that you’ve thrown off their schedule.
Maybe these mistakes seem silly, but if you are careful not to make them, you will end up reinforcing your greatest asset, your name.
If you have been experiencing any of these situations, it is a clear sign that you do not have a method (a system) that really works for both you, and your clients.
What can be resolved if you want to become a professional that is capable of personalizing and serving any client with the confidence and certainty of producing clear results.
